If these shoes could talk(Hope and Healing)

Tonight, when you hear the weatherman give the icy winter forecast, imagine for a minute what it would be like to be homeless, trying to survive outside in the bitter cold. For the homeless do not have to imagine, they know all to well what it's like to be freezing and hungry, living on Buffalo's streets.

This is the heartbreaking problem of homelessness, but thankfully there is a solution:

Buffalo City Mission and YOU!

When you join hands with the Mission, the homeless in Western New York are blessed with a safe bed and nourishing food to strengthen their bodies. Once our guests are safe and settled, we begin to address their long-term needs, tackling the problems that led to their homelessness through our programs and services.

In order to provide these life-saving services, we need the help of caring friends like you- compassionate souls who want to show love and mercy to those who have been battered and bruised by life...tender hearts who can't look the other way when someone is in need. In doing so, you will be blanketing them with hope and warming them with the Love of God.

Give today to help restore a life!

Carrie and Ms. Vi

For most, the kitchen is just an area where meals are prepared and cooked. For two special people at Buffalo City Mission's women and children's shelter, Cornerstone Manor, food is just one of the many things being "cooked up" in the kitchen.
