Men’s Community Center
Our Men’s Community Center, located at 100 E. Tupper Street, houses our emergency dorm and recovery program for men. Each night, 196 homeless men can find refuge from life on the streets. Here, they can leave behind their troubled pasts, filled with addiction, violence and poverty, and grow in Christ with the encouragement and support of our staff and volunteers. Here, they can rebuild their lives.
The countless men who come here are often amazed by how easy it is to become part of our family. All they have to do is knock on our door, and we welcome them with open arms.
The Men’s Community Center is also home to our Community Outreach Ministry and our administrative offices.

Women and Children’s Shelter (Cornerstone Manor)
Buffalo City Mission’s new Cornerstone Manor sits at the corner of North and Michigan. The spacious building provides emergency shelter for up to 16 single women and three families seeking protection from city streets or an abusive relationship. Up to 12 families and 46 single women can find hope and healing in the facility’s two-year resident recovery program.
On each of Cornerstone Manor’s three floors, homeless women and children find airy rooms for Bible study, adult and childhood education, life skills courses and recreation. There’s even a kitchen for cooking and nutrition classes! A courtyard, complete with basketball court and gazebo, allows residents to rest and play away from the busy street.
Cornerstone Manor Women and Children’s Shelter is a welcome relief from the uncertainties and fear homeless women and families face. For many, it’s the closest thing to home. For more information about our ministry for hurting women and children, click here.
