For our “2008 Feed the Hungry Month Campaign” in February; Dave Bogart encouraged his employees for one week to track their dollars spent for lunches and he would match them dollar for dollar and donate those funds to the Buffalo City Mission for Feed the Hungry Month. As a group, they were able to provide 88 nutritious meals for the poor and homeless of WNY.

A Huge Success ...

Mayor Byron Brown, Wife Michelle and son Byron the III came to volunteer on Thanksgiving Day.

Area motorcycle community friends who came to give back to those that are in need. Graber, Raven, Ruthie and Ron with Buffalo City Mission Staff.

WUFO came and hosted a live radio show on site for those who came for a warm meal the day of our Thanksgiving Community Meal. They interviewed resident Chris Torok on how the Buffalo City Mission has helped make good changes in his life.

Volunteers Jane, Alice, Tom and Richard Calhoun came to help prepare and package thanksgiving meals to our hurting community on Thanksgiving Day. What a blessing!

Area Police officers come and help supply many turkeys for our Thanksgiving Meal at the Buffalo City Mission.


United Health Care hosted a clothing drive to help the Buffalo City Mission meet the practical needs of our men, women and children that come through our doors for help.


Winning Smiles Pediatric Dentistry hosted a candy fundraising opportunity for the Buffalo City Mission. They donated over 200lbs of candy and a check for 238.00 for us to utilize to help feed those who are in need.

The Students and staff from Medialle College who hosted a clothing drive for the Buffalo City Mission to benefit those of our community who are less fortunate.
